PINK COOKIES IN A PLASTIC BAG GETTING CRUSHED BY A BUILDING

PINK COOKIES IN A PLASTIC BAG GETTING CRUSHED BY A BUILDING

University Classrooms (Why Nothing Ever Comes From Them)

…are run by TAs, Lecturers, Profs who:

1. Either give all students As in a shameless bid for high evaluations or

2. Grade ridiculously hard, permanently sinking students’ semester grades with one swipe of a red pen (and for stupid reasons)

3. Never read any of the assigned texts, just BS their way through

4. Often rely on dogma and eschew critical thinking

5. Refuse to answer questions based upon made up grounds- or use the limits of time as a weapon to control discourse

6. Alternate between shaming students and trying to sleep with them

Best bet- hit the library for self-study and reflection or just stay home and read. You’ll save yourself money and a headache.

Open Question 2

So here we have OPEN QUESTIONS

OPEN QUESTIONS is an open forum for pressing questions, seldom asked elsewhere, that beg to be answered. I don’t have the answers do you?? This is an ongoing series.

1.) Does anyone else see comparisons between highly constructed financial instruments and highly constructed neoliberal ideological beliefs? It seems both are abstract notions which cross validated each other to justified the material basis of the status quo… and because of their mutual reinforcing nature they seem impossible to dislodge. Anybody?

2.) Will memories of Amy forever haunt me?

3.) If “it gets better”; When?

“I need some answers here…

you’re going to have to do some talking.”
