Sleep, Debt, and Dreams about Something

Sleep, Debt, and Dreams about Something

We haven’t slept properly in 3 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, 4 days and counting…

-but now-

generic Ambien® (zolpidem tartrate) has entered the market

and now there’s no need

to sweat the small stuff

-or-

mind life and death matters.

(…like how periods mark the death of sentences.)

Uselessness is worthless

-as is-

“existential dread.”

Professionals constantly throw their hands up and ask,

“How can we verify and validate everything?”

Its official: the accountants in the office at the company have declared us

“spiritually bankrupt.”

Now that there’s nothing left to lose

we must

divorce debt from morality

-and-

escape the red forcefully [which is where they wish to keep us indefinitely].

Have hope:

generic Ambien® (zolpidem tartrate) has entered the market;

the patent on its formulation,

which lacked strong anti-abuse properties,

expired…

and now there’s no need

to sweat the small stuff

-or-

mind life and death matters.

(Life is [in the ellipsis], so grab it.)
